Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, enjoy a friendly chat over a cup of coffee.
Come along on your own, with your family or with friends and turn your creation into a beautiful souvenir!
How does it work? In just 4 steps.
First, select your snack and the room you want to decorate: mug, bowl, teapot, vase, etc. There's something for everyone!
Make yourself comfortable, get your brushes ready and let your imagination run free to personalise your creation.
While you enjoy your coffee and pastries, decorate your ceramics. We'll supply you with all the materials you need. Running out of inspiration? Don't worry! You'll find booklets full of easy-to-reproduce examples on site.
Once the pieces have been decorated, they have to be fired and enamelled. But that's our job! It's up to us. Drop off your piece at the end of your two-hour session and pick it up again 2 to 4 weeks later, as soon as it is solid and shiny.
Good news, your patience has finally paid off: your ceramic is finally ready! Come and pick it up in shop. Don't live in Saint-Malo? No problem. Have it delivered via Mondial Relay, who will take good care of your piece so that it arrives in perfect condition.
Who can come?
There's something for everyone! At La Potinerie, there's something for everyone: adults and children, seasoned artists or the simply curious, perfectionists or free spirits... In fact, the only criterion for leaving with a beautiful piece of pottery is knowing how to hold a paintbrush. Easy, isn't it?
What's more, we'll be with you every step of the way, offering advice and tips. So, alone or with friends, let yourself be tempted and come and create with us!
For how long and at what cost?
A painting session lasts 2 hours. Here's a time-saving tip: choose your room before the session! To do so, go to the Ceramics.
Prices vary according to the room selected and any drinks or pastries.
You'll find options to suit all budgets, with prices ranging from 10€ for small parts, to 70€ for the largest.
La Potinerie: a ceramic café in Saint-Malo
In 2025, the beautiful town of Saint-Malo will see the birth of La Potinerie, a ceramic café that embodies the perfect marriage between art, gourmandise and conviviality. The café is the brainchild of Mathilde who, after a spell at business school, wanted nothing more than to reconnect with ‘real’ life, that of the human contact and manual work.
La Potinerie, with its orange and blue décor and retro 1970s accents, creates an ambience that is at once warm, creative and relaxinga truly unique experience. You can enjoy pastries and pastries a wide range of products, as well as teas and and coffee. In this cosy setting, you will also find a large selection of paintable ceramicsfor young and old, evolving with the seasons and events.
In a nutshell: La Potinerie is the new place to be a must for a weekend or a holiday in Saint Malo!
